Stitched Trump next to Elon, both overlaid on an Los Angles skyline faded together with a forest fire and a Palantir logo in the top left

A lot of shouting has been made from the modern propaganda boxes known as social media, the news and classic TV broadcasts. Elon Musk and Donald Trump have engaged in what can only be described as a silly, and very likely staged, ridiculous slap fight. Epstein narratives are making their way into the news again as Los Angeles moves from forest fire season to riot season. Meanwhile, Congress has become functionally illiterate as they continue to vote for bills that they do not read. Bills that are ushering in an era of magical wrong answer language machines (a.k.a “AI”) permeating their way through state and local governments. There are a lot of distractions out there, so it’s important to understand why it’s all most certainly propaganda and surveillance narrative.

Musk and Trump’s Slap-fight

Earlier this month, Trump announced that his relationship with Elon Musk was “wearing thin,” citing disagreements over electric vehicle (EV) legislation as the reason for dismissing Musk from his employment1. Musk then announced that Trump was “in the Epstein files” and how that was the “real reason they have not been made public2.” This comes on the coattails of the ridiculous claims by Dan Bongino and others that Epstein actually did commit suicide while in a federal prison3, something that seems like an absurd and obvious lie4.

I would hope it’s pretty obvious that this entire fight between Trump and Elon is very likely a planned narrative. It’s an interesting, messy distraction involving the question of Epstein’s murder/suicide narrative. Many people have forgotten that an alleged 13-year-old Epstein rape and trafficking victim dropped her case against Trump in 2016 prior to the election5, or that Elon has claimed the photo of him and Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell was a “photobomb6.”

Kash Patel was being interviewed on Joe Rogan as the slap-fight between Trump and Musk was breaking. Patel, the current FBI director, was trying to defend his public statement that Jeffery Epstein really did kill himself, and Rogan did not seem to be buying it7. A few days later, Musk posted that he regretted his earlier statements about Trump, claiming that “they went too far8.”

Congress is Functionally Illiterate

Congress just voted on Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill9,” which contained a provision that prevents States from enacting any legislation against limiting or restricting AI integrations for interstate commerce:

MORATORIUM . (1) IN GENERAL .—Except as provided in paragraph (2), no State or political subdivision thereof may enforce, during the 10-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act, any law or regulation of that State or a political subdivision thereof limiting, restricting, or otherwise regulating artificial intelligence models, artificial intelligence systems, or automated decision systems entered into interstate commerce.

-H.R.1 - One Big Beautiful Bill Act (p. 278)

Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), the congresswoman from Georgia, claimed she did not read this particular provision and would not have voted for it had she known the bill restricts states’ rights10. She basically admitted to voting on the legislation without actually reading it. It’s literally her only job as a representative to read the bills before they are voted on. Her responses show that Congress is functionally illiterate, as no representative should ever vote on any bill if they can’t even be bothered to read it11!

Only five House Republicans didn’t vote for H.R.1, with Thomas Massie12 (Kentucky) and Warren Davidson (Ohio) the only two who explicitly voted against it13. I had initially been hopeful with Marjorie Taylor Greene. She represents the district bordering my own, and early interviews I had watched with her persuaded me she might genuinely be interested in working for her constituents. Some may try to defend her and others, stating that H.R.1 was over 1000 pages. Looking at the actual text, it has high margins and individual line numbers. It is a lot of text, but not an insurmountable amount to read when it’s literally the primary job of a legislator.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's Stock Investments and Net Worth

Marjorie Taylor Greene did enter Congress with a considerable amount of wealth inherited from her father’s construction business1415. Yet it seems like she’s also been making investments and growing her wealth via stock trades16 in the ways other members of Congress have been highly criticized for17. She’s currently on the Homeland Security Committee and the Oversight and Accountability Committee18, which indicates she might be actively participating in the current “pay-to-pay” lobbying system19.

Even though “not reading the bill” is no excuse for any sitting member of Congress, I do not think this was a simple oversight from MTG. It seems like she has not only fallen in line with partisan voting, but is actively participating in many of the activities that lawmakers use to build wealth at the expense of the American people. The bill she voted for promotes massive expansion for surveillance, military spending and artificial intelligence while constricting spending on health care20. It’s another step towards the technocratic regime that will be ushered in by both sides of the false political dichotomy as the citizenry are distracted by social issues.

The L.A. Riots

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has come under violent protests in the city of Los Angeles this month. The protests seem nonsensical. People who are in America illegally tend to keep their heads down to not draw attention to themselves. One of the unhinged protestors21 literally looks like characters from the failed Concord game22. Protestors in New York City, who were literally blocking traffic, mocked someone who was simply trying to get to her job2324.

The Department of Homeland Security has announced offers of $1,000 to illegal residents who willingly submit themselves to deportation25. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is preparing to deploy Marines to Los Angeles2627. Arguments are being made that this doesn’t violate the Posse Comitatus Act since the soldiers will be limited to protecting federal buildings28. After days of rioting, Mayor Karen Bass declared a curfew within the city29.

This all feels very reminiscent of the 2020 protests in Portland, Oregon. The media sensationalizes these stories to make it seem as if the city is burning down, when most of the chaos is often limited to a few city blocks. The protests flooding LA and the rest of the country feel contrived or manufactured. The rhetoric around troop deployments and use of the Insurrection Act all seem to be preparing and conditioning Americans for accepting increases in surveillance and domestic use of military force.

Nation States and Surveillance

Trump has continued to push for the annexation of Canada to build America’s “Golden Dome System3031.” This seems like it’s a continuation of the Neo-Conservative agenda fostered by George W. Bush to create a North American Union32. Earlier incarnations of this ideology can be traced back to the 1970s with the Club of Rome33 and the Ten Kingdoms Project34.

Today such plans for expansionism are coupled heavily with surveillance technologies. Trump has tapped Palantir to expand data collection on Americans35. Palantir also has military artificial intelligence designed to survey and target enemies in combat situations36. Plans for Trump’s new AI programs were leaked by accident on GitHub, indicating a July 4th release of government programs designed to use AI to integrate data across government agencies37. The state restrictions in the “Big Beautiful Bill,” combined with more government funding for AI, are leading America full speed into an era of technocratic surveillance, data collection and the total loss of privacy.

Cartoon: We Need more government that I like. No we need more government that I like. We need less government! More government

At the beginning of this year, I predicted we’d see an acceleration of propaganda and psychological operations. I honestly do not think many people can see past the current rhetoric on social issues. Many Americans are ignoring the growing amount of technocratic rules being imposed into our lives. People cling heavily to their ideological sides, either being angry at major corporations for not engaging in Pride Month38 or believing that Trump is somehow fighting the deep state. The ramping up of the news cycle seems like a planned acceleration, designed to further fraction the American public and make everyone more susceptible to government and technocratic control.
