I think some of my early thoughts on the CEO killer have panned out. The story of Luigi’s Mansion has become even more ridiculous as time has gone on. The news concerning drones is laughable dribble. As 2025 has started out, we’re greeted with an exploding Cybertruck outside a Trump hotel¹, along with someone driving through a crowd in New Orleans². Whether these events were truly random acts or they were carefully planned and orchestrated is completely irrelevant. The media has latched onto these events, directing a narrative over domestic issues. It helps to ignore and overshadow the toppling of Syria’s government by the American, Israeli and Turkish support of terrorist organizations³. If this is just the first week of 2025, we’re in for a bumpy ride.

The CEO Killer

Initially, the Internet was in a fury of praise for the man who assassinated a UnitedHealthcare CEO. The victim was seen as a big evil CEO whose decisions denied care payments for many, and the shooter was seen as enacting justice. A few days later, we learn that the shooter came from a rich family and went to very expensive schools⁴. Meanwhile, the CEO came from a small farming community, was raised in a middle-class family, and worked his way up to his position⁵.

This narrative flip is incredibly interesting, because those who continue to stand by their original position of hating the CEO and praising the killer are now literally saying the CEO was evil because he became rich. His merit literally means nothing. Meanwhile, the rich person who stands against his family’s wealth is praised as being honorable. On its surface, it literally reads like a communistic fan-fiction: The rich bourgeoisie throws off his privilege to murder a man who sought similar wealth to what he was born into.

The shooter’s last name, Maginone, literally means “big eater” in Italian⁶⁷, and he was arrested in a McDonald’s while eating⁸. His full name is easy to remember, because it is similar to the Nintendo game Luigi’s Mansion. Those who still believe in the official story must believe the shooter was discovered five days after the shooting, wearing the same clothes, with the murder weapon on him, and a manifesto⁹. It’s a story so absolutely ridiculous it deserves to be a major Hollywood film. What parts of it are true and which ones are fictitious are completely irrelevant to its psychological impact.

The New Jersey Drones

The mysterious bus-sized drones in New Jersey are clearly Chinese Spy Balloons¹⁰ version 2.0. Some have claimed these drones are likely used by the military to detect, or “sniff,” radioactive material¹¹. Congressman Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) claimed, from “very high sources,” that the drones were coming from an offshore Iranian mothership¹². He’s probably not lying. I’m sure someone told the representative whatever confusing information they wanted to be leaked, for whatever purpose.

Others are claiming this particular narrative is an attempt to license, limit and restrict personal drone ownership¹³. Many are speculating about the American Security Drone Act, but it was introduced in 2023 and isn’t about personal drone restrictions, but restricting “an executive agency” from “procur[ing] any covered unmanned aircraft system that is manufactured or assembled by a covered foreign entity¹⁴.”

Whatever the real explanation is, does it really matter? It is absolutely insane to believe that the United States military isn’t directly responsible for these drones¹⁵¹⁶.

A New Year Bombing

2025 started out with a rented Tesla Cybertruck, filled with fireworks, exploding outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas¹¹⁷. Meanwhile in New Orleans, another rented truck drove through a crowd, killing 10, by a US citizen in Texas with an Arab name, who also had an ISIS flag in the truck². Both drivers allegedly rented their trucks from the mobile app Turo¹⁸. To top all of this off, a NY Post reporter was just allowed to walk through the home of the New Orleans killer, with a camera crew, after the FBI had executed their warrant¹⁹!

I’m not going to comment too much on these cases, as I hope they sound as absurd and contrived to anyone with critical thinking skills and a healthy distrust of both the media and government. Whether these were genuine acts of terrorism or contrived acts by an intelligence agency is of little consequence. The narrative spun by the media has the intent of keeping Americans on edge from the very beginning of a new year.

The Verge of War

The American media is focused on domestic terror attacks. This is insane considering the collapse of the government of Syria—the most colossal political change the Middle East has seen in several decades²⁰. Israel has already taken advantage of the situation to gain territory in the Golan Heights²¹. The Assad government has fought a very long campaign²² over terrorist organizations that were directly and indirectly funded by the United States, Israel and Turkey³. Obama failed in his attempt to take America to war with Syria. Assad is no saint, but he is heavily misrepresented in the media. The chemical attack video in 2018 was very likely a false flag²³ or hoax²⁴.

The Ukraine military is currently facing very high defection rates²⁵, and there is a possibility their casualty count could be well over one million people²⁶. The entire region between the Middle East and Euro-Asia is inundated with proxy wars for The United States, Russia, Israel and many other actors. The only thing that is preventing a true start of a Third World War is spillover into a European Member State. Should either Poland or Romania become engaged in conflicts within their borders, the world will enter a new era of horrors.

The Coming Year

Democratized developed nations are already testing the waters of authoritarianism. In Romania, the results of an election were annulled by judges over claims of Russian influence²⁷. A South Korean president imposed martial law for the first time in 40 years, justifying it with claims his enemies are sympathetic to North Korea²⁸. The events of the past five years were a collective trauma²⁹. We’ve seen how that type of stress can be weaponized against people to embrace authoritarian practices³⁰.

I know you might be asking, if some or all of these events are psychological operations, then what is the point? The point is that it builds stress within society. Every new hot, divisive political issue is another means by which the media strikes a blow on the fragile mind of society. It is fracturing people on their personal beliefs within their own political identities. People are dividing further from their friends and loved ones over each contentious issue. These are the types of techniques needed to move the needle for everyone towards more authoritarianism.

I think things are clearly accelerating. If 2020 was the year of hindsight, we must hope that 2025 will be the year of clarity, grace and forgiveness. The rulers of this world are dependent on those they view as cattle to fight wars. If it were only so easy to convince people to throw down their swords and bend them into plows³¹. Yet when propaganda riles people into a maddened state, the acceleration is very difficult to stop, and the world right now is moving so very fast.
